Each additional figure in the painting is 75% of the listed price.
Posthumous portraits are available.
Group pricing is dependent on how much of the figures are how and at the canvas size.
Detailed background or props and addition 15-25%
Expenses associated with travel and shipping/packaging are additional.

Portrait Commission Procedure
In Person Meeting
An initial meeting is held to determine the approximate size, pose, setting, clothing, and portrait style. If relevant, it is ideal for the artist to view the intended hanging space.
Photo Capture
Portraits are painted from photos to avoid the inconvenience of long sittings. These will be taken by the artist, or an artist paid photographer (often for small children). This is frequently done during a second meeting.
Setting and Appearance
The artist requests that subjects do not have hair cut immediately before a portrait sitting or otherwise significantly change their appearance.
Various Sketching
The artist will sometimes request short periods of sketch time.
Narrow Options
A photo will be chosen as the basis for the painting although several will be used for reference.. The artist will narrow these choices and reserves the right to refuse unworkable poses.
In Person Sitting
Nearing the painting completion, adults may be asked to participate in 2 hour sitting. The artist may also request to borrow props or fabric that relate to the painting.
Painting Time
Once started, a portrait will take approximately 2-6 months to complete, depending upon size and detail. This is due in part to the slow drying time of oils. An approximate completion date may be given but the artist will not sacrifice the quality of the painting for the sake of the deadline.
